Where are you going?  I'm headed home to Rogers Park after some last minute shopping. Then I'm off to New York for a trip.

Why ride?  Because its free. I like to race, and it makes my body work.

How can Chicago improve bike infrastructure or make Chicago more bike-friendly?  Bike lanes & street smoothing would really improve my ride.

Lara rides a green Schwinn cruiser

I ran into Laura on my way to work.  I love her cute little green cruiser.  It make me long for a bike that has matching fenders and a chain guard! 

We are lucky to live in a city that used to have a Schwinn factory.  I've notice tons of really well-preserved old chicago schwinns on the bike racks lately.
